It’s
hard to believe it’s over 30 years since the birth of what
we now know as Heavy Metal. Hendrix and Cream were the midwives,
the likes of Sabbath and Zep the progeny. But what about the half-brother
lurking in the corner, giggling, and sucking on the gas and air?
Step forward please, Blue Cheer.
The Godfathers Of Stoner Rock

An
antidote to today's faceless dance acts, indie by numbers chart
acts, and 'oh-so-alternative' nu-metal bands. One of the hardest
working bands in the country and has established B-Movie Heroes
as one of the shining lights in the UK rock scene, playing to packed
houses up and down the country. Indeed Radio 1 described them as
"the hottest new band in Britain".
The release of the stunning debut album, Anthems For The Underdog,
met with rave reviews by both the music media
and music lovers alike. Forget going to the Movies
to see a good film, go see the B Movie Heroes to see one of the
finest bands around on the live circuit today.

There
are fascinating roots to this band. Featuring the legend that is
Bruce Foxton (The Jam / Stiff Little Fingers), Bruce Watson and
Mark Bzezicki from one of the Greatest Rock Bands that Scotland
has ever produced (Big Country), and Simon Townshend (younger brother
of Pete, and member of The Who for last 9 years). THE CASBAH CLUB
performed songs from all their individual incarnations when they
embarked on their first tour in April 2004, which spawned the live
Album EASTWORLD. Live set on Debut tour consisted of both classic
hits AND some hugely popular, but rarely performed gems from a band
that SERIOUSLY ROCKS. Debut studio album (of all new original material)
to be released September 2005, preceeded by a May UK tour and summer
of promotional touring, performing not only some of the classics,
but lots of the new original material - of which the early workings
of The Casbah Club have been heard at Pogomotion Central, and they
are sounding mighty awesome already. Roll on the tours and album!.

She
does not need to rely on the name - for her talent shines through
like a beacon..The (much) younger sister of one of the world's greatest
drummers (John Bonham, Led Zepplin) is an astounding singer in her
own right. Q, Mojo, Classic Rock and many others have descibed her
asHigh Quality Blues Rock, and this is no understatement. She has
recently appeared as support on Jools Holland Stadium and Arena
Tour and is soon to record and sing live with Ann Peebles. In addition,
Deborah will also be part of an upcoming Soul Divas Tour with Sam
Brown, Ruby Turner, and Kym Mazelle. All this in addition to touring
and promoting her stunning new album THE OLD HYDE.

Some
bands belong to their own time, others trespass on decades where
they don't really belong. Diesel Park West must have seemed to
some people back in '89, with the release of the far-reaching
SHAKESPEARE ALABAMA, the most welcome and liberating guitar band
anyone had heard for years. A lot of artists who have enjoyed
massive acclaim and success since, may well tip hats towards the
Diesels for being pioneers in the re-emergence of the guitar as
the primary sound of contemporary music. Add to that song writing
that both provokes and reassures... sometimes within the same
lyric... ...then maybe its appropriate to start spreading the
word. Now in 2005, while the band have never been away, they are
soon to re-emerge with a bang as EMI re-issue the SHAKESPEARE
ALABAMA album, with new DPW album and extensive touring in 2nd
half of 2005.

Heavy melodic rockers FULC burst onto the scene
in 2002 with their 4 track EP “The Fallen” which was
released to much critical acclaim. Never ones to stand still FULC
released their debut album “Biting Insomnia” in 2003
on Stunted Records and they are currently preparing for the release
of their follow up album "Embrace.Destroy" in 2005.
Citing influences from Muse to Nine Inch Nails, but sounding like
none, the bands style has been described as ”taking grunge,
punk and metal, sticking them in a furnace until they’re
white hot and then hammered into exciting new shapes….”.
Kerrang described the band as “one of the most vibrantly
inventive young bands in the UK today – it’s refreshing
to come across a band that doesn’t want to fit in “
and “A tidy package of real song writing ability and sweaty
grunge-metal attitude - FULC have a vision and talent far too
large and varied to be cramped by such a small stage”.
FULC's own brand of heavy rock sees them becoming renowned for
their livewire stage shows - 200 in the UK in the last 2 years,
which mix full on headline dates with national support slots for
Kinesis, Martin Grech, Oceansize, Span, Whitesnake amongst others.
FULC will be touring in the UK and Europe to promote the new release
in 2005 of Embrace.Destroy.

A
favourite of the 80's Indie-Rock-Art-Goth scene, Gene Loves Jezebel
have always been innovative and groundbreaking, despite having
had a somewhat, troubled existence over the years. With twin brothers
Michael and Jay Aston, Gene Loves Jezebel won permanent spots
in fans' hearts, with their music. Now in 2005, Micheal Aston
returns with an awesome new Gene Loves Jezebel album, 'Exploding
Girls', which has already received a FIVE STAR review in ROLLING
STONE, which highlighted the title track as "a smoldering,
melodic meditation" (the song is about Wafa Idris, Palestine's
first female suicide bomber). Beggars Banquet will be releasing
a 'Best Of' Gene Loves Jezebel album and re-releasing the first
3 classic albums, these releases are planned for May 2005 release.
EXPLODING GIRLS to be released in Europe in May 2005, with summer-long
tours and festival appearances, promoting the new album.

Larger
than life, comes the sensation that is Lord Bishop, the KING of
SexRock. Sonically and visually, its a hell-raising assault on the
senses and one of the best live performances you will ever see.
Is this the new Jimi Hendrix? Possibly/Yes, some will say, but in
reality, No. For this is Badass black guitarist / singer-songwriter
Lord Bishop, and he is like no other. Lord Bishop and his SexRockers
have risen to give rock music a mighty kiss in the rear and are
coming to conquer the music world with his loud buzzsaw guitar and
songs (sang with bulletproof intensity). It's cool Hendrix Vibes,
James Brown Funk, Nirvana Power and Zappa Humour. Lord Bishop, with
his Sex Rock gang, produce a daring and crazy mixture of dirty Rock'n'Roll,
Funk, sweat, Soul, sex appeal and black power. "Lord Bishop
Rocks" are the Loudest, Funkiest, Dirtiest Hard Rock Trio to
land on the planet Earth in decades. A band which invokes a amazing
response everywhere they play, it is only a matter of time before
LORD BISHOP ROCKS become bigger than The Darkness (according to
press, promoters and music loving public who have experienced the
band live). With European tours left, right and centre, Lord Bishop
is here to shake your bones and cause music fans to stomp and shake
with every vibrant beat of the music, that is known as SexRock.

Live
and on record, Malibu Stacey deliver a rollercoaster of non-stop
grab-you-by-the-balls Rock, which is seeing the band going down
a storm live and a huge buzz currently surrounds the band and their
potential. Line Up includes LEIGH MARKLEW (ex Terrorvision) and
KES LOY (ex Leafeater).Lead singer (the hugely charismatic) Jonny
Wilson appears to be the result of a Frankenstein-like experiment
gone wrong where a young Mick Jagger is mutated with an eccentric
Johnny Rotten. 2003 found the band gigging mainly in their native
Yorkshire, writing and recording their debut album and fine-tuning
their live performances. With 100+ gigs now under their belt and
two UK-wide tours done and dusted, the debut album 'On Heat' was
met with great media response). It is a phenomenal debut album,
literally dripping in rockin' riffs and lyrics, a 10song rollercoaster
of non-stop grab-you-by-the-balls Rock, so Play It loud and Play
it Proud - and see you at the gigs. Preparations are in place for
2005’s assault where many have already outlined MALIBU STACEY
as Rock's brightest prospect. Malibu
Stacey is coming out to play
. And
you are all invited to join in the fun. MALIBU STACEY - Now ready
to rock the UK.

with a huge number of infectious punk-rock, feel-good, kickass rock
‘n’roll tunes, Rat:Daddy are the Alternative to the
Alternative. With songs which sizzle with unlimited energy and attitude,
Rat:Daddy are heavy enough to mosh to but unashamedly melodic, tunes
which become imprinted in your mind, a band who aren’t manufactured
or pretentious, but who give it to you straight. If you like your
music to be loud, unashamed rock ‘n’ roll, steeped in
gigantic searing guitar riffs, which collide with choruses which
are dripping in hooks, then welcome to the world of Rat:Daddy. Currently

From
the Blackwood area of South Wales. Hailed in some quarters as the
Next Manics, this supremely talented and musically stunning foursome,
have a passion and zeal reminiscent of the Manics early work but
are determined to stamp their own brand of New UK Rock on the current
music scene. Combining the early fire of MSP and Filthy Underground
Riff Rock with a surprising cocktail of harmonic clarity, to produce
captivating Rock sound, with punk undertones at times, the bands
many eclectic rock influences, include: Nirvana, the Cult, the Who,
and indeed the Manics, can be heard in their vibrant material. Every
now and then something special comes along in music, maybe not a
complete reinvention but a new take on a classic genre; the same
incredible view from a different and higher vantage point. Stiff
Kittens definitely raise the bar on Big Riffing, High Octane, Monster
Melodic, Rock Music. Third album due for release 2005.

Their
voices build from haunting, delicate beauty to an explosion of soaring
harmonies. Their lyrics bloom from a place of uncompromising honesty
and naked emotion. Their melodies are rooted in blues and R&B,
rock and folk, and the result is a sound that blends and transcends
these genres into something unique and personal. But for Waking
the Witch, this is just the beginning.... With their stunning debut
album 'Like Everybody', Waking the Witch are ready to write their
own history. From the hauntingly reverent Poet of Harlem with its
almost operatic climax, to the assured title track, the album shimmers
and soars, radiating womanly zest, energy and attitude. Appeared
all over UK thro Summer 2004 at numerous Festivals and throughout
Autumn/Winter 2004, with gigs the length and breadth of the country.
New album HANDS AND BRIDGES due for release Spring 2005, backed
by commencement of intensive touring March 2005 onwards.

Xi
– hard, angst-driven yet melodic rock born out of the need
to be honest in a dishonest world. Reacting to a pressure-ridden
urban environment not as inner city cock-rockers with a phoney veneer
of rebellion – but as human beings trying to understand, trying
to cope and trying to care. Anger without arrogance, pain without
despair and somewhere, an un-extinguishable sense of humour and
a flare of hope. Xi are a band with a passion for Rock who believe
that if it's worth playing, it's worth playing well. The attitude
and the energy transmitted from their stage show isn't an alternative
to talent - it flows from the music and the band's total immersion
in it. Guitars roar, keyboards scream and the rhythm section is
solid solid solid while Daz's tortured vocals strike straight to
the soul.
With a growing nationwide mailing list, invitations to return from
every venue they've played, and Simon Hinkler, (ex- The Mission)
as an enthusiastic production adviser Xi are a band ready to happen.
