RAT:DADDY - A Bit of Glam, A Bit of Sleaze, A Bit of Punk, A LOT of ROCK!!!

Rock music has been the passion of each member of the band from an early age. Ian, Tim, Jon and Gav lost their Rock n Roll virginity to bands such as Motley Crue, Kiss and The Wildhearts

All of them gained entrance to a Jazz and Rock academy and the band built up their live experience, song writing skills and learnt their way around the studio.

Rat:Daddy surged into life. Original melodic rock pounded from the practice room. When they played live, there was huge excitement & energy. The audience would look up from their pint, the ladies would start dancing, the blokes would soon follow and the gigs soon started to turn in parties.

Rat:Daddy broke free from the comfort of the south coast and headed off on their first UK tour having already released their independent CD “We Should Be Going Crazy”. The CD has sold out with 1000 copies being sold. Reviews were unanimous, Rat:Daddy were young, exciting and ready to make waves.

Fans and promoters wanted them back and three more tours followed with audiences growing all the time. Along the way they supported the likes of the Wildhearts, Rachel Stamp, Hardcore Superstar and AntiProduct.

A new split CD was released on the ‘ChangesOne Record Label’– “Dirty Stars”. More mature then ‘We Should Be Going Crazy’, but still with Rat:Daddys sense of mischief, many more fans discovered the band and ‘Dirty Stars’ sold across Europe and Japan

The band are currently working their first Full Length Album. Early reports suggest it to be the true fulfilment of Rat:Daddys potential. The usual mix of huge guitars and even bigger choruses share the grooves with a staggering musical diversity and depth of song writing. Add to the mix a colossal production job and you have a potential classic on your hands.

Rat:Daddy have appeared on several compilation CDs both in the UK and America including “ Snake Oil Supercharm” a tribute to the 80’s band Zodiac Mindwarp.

The band has just completed a successful mini tour of Holland. The Dutch audience and press went wild for the band and Rat:Daddy developed a hard core fan base. A return visit, plus tours of other territories in Europe and beyond is being planned

The show now rolls on with a combination of great songs, fantastic live shows and total dedication to the music.
