Hot off their 30 date UK tour to promote the debut album “On Heat”, Malibu Stacey release their debut single “Invasion”. The band have been receiving critical acclaim for their blistering live shows and debut album, and with quite possibly the maddest frontman we’ve seen for a long time, Malibu Stacey are definitely ones to watch in 2004 / 2005.

Invasion combines Malibu Stacey’s knack of crafting the perfect pop-punk tune with some major league guitar riffs, resulting in the kind of ear-friendly tune capable of rocking the die-hard rock fans as well as the popsters.

As if the rave reviews for debut album “On Heat” weren’t enough evidence that this band are already emerging to the top of the current UK rock scene, the team behind the hit TV show Shameless on Channel 4 have now given the band their support by filming a top video to accompany the single “Invasion”.

The band have already taken in supports with Ten Benson, Henry Rollins, The Vaults as well as playing a main stage set at this year’s Bulldog Bash punk festival. Malibu Stacey have also been invited to headline a prestigious gig at this year’s “In The City” music festival in Manchester, where previous year’s have seen Oasis, The Darkness, Coldplay, Muse and many more all take their first steps on the road to greater glories.
