"Fuck you" is a term that means independence, anti-mainstream and a lot of fun on the road for the New York power rock freak Lord Bishop...

As the 20th Century drew to a close, and having played over 800 shows with the black hard rock band from NYC 'Total Sexual Freedom', Lord Bishop decided to form his own band which would produce the daring and crazy mixture of dirty Rock'n'Roll, Funk, sweat, Soul, sex appeal and black power, that he craved to take to every corner of the world - music he calls 'SexRock'.

And so it came to pass that in November 1999, Lord Bishop stepped out from the shadows of side stage to the glaring spotlights of centre stage, to begin a new musical journey, with his Rockadelic Kings now simply called Rocks.

Four years and almost 600 shows later, having started out in small venues throughout Europe, and progressed to major festival appearances and 1000 capacity venues throughout Europe (Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Italy and Poland), the time has come for Lord Bishop to make a full sonic and touring assault on the UK in 2004.

Since first hitting the road back in 1991, he enjoys living on the road, on stage and of course back stage! The permanent stress of being a musician, who is trying to reach upper skies, leaves the King of Sex Rock still excited about every show, saying "When I see the faces of the boys and the pussies of the girls I say to myself, wow this is a life."

From the outset, the main intention was to move his band forward: Rock'n Roll - as pure and as eccentric as Rock music can be. A description of the music is as simple as complicated: Sex Rock is the word that Lord Bishop has chosen and it fits perfect. Emotional, hard, fast, soft, the music makes people sweat, move, sweat, move, sweat, move and then explode with the biggest orgasm of their life.

It's no surprise that Lord Bishop can be seen at major Open Air Festivals all over Europe, i.e. at the "Love and Peace Festival" in Fehmarn (Germany), the "Trutnov Music Festival" in Trutnov (Czech Republic), at the "Rock for People Festival" (Czech Republic), the "Waldstock Festival" in Pegnitz (Germany), the famous "Umsonst und Draußen Festival" in Vlotho (Germany), and many more.

"Lord Bishop Rocks" are the Loudest, Funkiest, Dirtiest Hard Rock Trio to land on the planet Earth in decades.

Led by the 6 foot, 4 inches, 250 pound "King of Sex Rock" himself, "Lord Bishop Rocks" will hit the road in 2004 for an anticipated 200+ shows, to promote the release of the 'Sweat & Blood' album (available now) and forthcoming Live album "Live at the Bei Chez Heinz".

Sweat'n Blood is the latest album from "Lord Bishop Rocks" and from the first chords you get the impression of a loud, black Voodoo Funker laying down Rock'n Roll the way it was meant to be. Before they know it, the Sex Rock juices start flowing - "if everyone who buys one of my CDs can just take it home and fuck to it, I'm very happy".

There is no book, 'How to become a Rock'n Roll star on your own back' - but if there would be one it should be written by Lord Bishop. "I will not give up music until I'm dead", says Lord Bishop, and people who know him think even then he will continue.
