An Introduction..........

Larger than life, from New York City, the sensation that is 'LORD BISHOP ROCKS' - The KINGS of SexRock, who have come from virtually nowhere and blown the socks off of everyone who has heard this phenomenal band since they whipped up a huge frenzy in March 2004 with their debut (27 date) UK tour. Since then, the band have been working on spreading the SexRock message across the UK with further tours, on top of their extensive European touring.

A band NOT to be missed, as this band could be as big as The Darkness according to the feedback from venue promoters and the UK music loving public who have seen the bands gigs.

Sonically, its a highly pleasurable hell-raising assault on the senses.
(Cool Hendrix Vibes, James Brown Funk, Nirvana Power and Zappa Humour.)

Visually its one of the greatest performances you will ever see.

The 3 piece is fronted by Lord Bishop – who many are asking - Is this the new Jimi Hendrix?
Possibly/Yes, some will say, but in reality, No.

For this is Badass black guitarist / singer-songwriter Lord Bishop, and he is like no other.

Already established in Europe as a hugely in-demand artist who has risen to give rock music a mighty kiss in the rear, and a veteran of non-stop euro gigs and festivals in the past few years, the words complete showman and entertainer were invented for this man.

Lord Bishop’s mission is to conquer the UK (and indeed, the world) with his loud buzzsaw guitar and songs (sang with bulletproof intensity).

Lord Bishop is the “black giant” (two meters plus 120 kg) from New York City and with his Sex Rock gang (Lion Rocks on Bass, Wes Rocks on Drums), produce a daring and crazy mixture of dirty Rock’n’Roll, Funk, sweat, Soul, sex appeal and power.

“LORD BISHOP ROCKS” are the Loudest, Funkiest, Dirtiest Hard Rock Trio to land on the planet Earth in decades.

In 2004 the ‘Orgasmus World Tour’ hit the UK in March, Summer and Autumn 2004, with over 100 gigs in the UK with European tours left, right and centre, seeing LORD BISHOP ROCKS play in excess of 200 gigs last year. 2005 will see more of the same, but on an larger scale, as the band continues its quest for musical world domination.

Those who see the band live all leave at the end of the night with huge smiles on their faces from the musical orgasm that is LORD BISHOP ROCKS - and the Orgasm could be coming to a town near you, so make sure you do not miss out on the opportunity to be entertained big style, for Lord Bishop Rocks is here to shake your bones and cause music fans to stomp and shake with every vibrant beat of the music, that is known as SexRock.

"17 styles of music in a blender with politics as the seasoning." (Mike Henry, Sony Music)

"Dark, Evil, Funky, loaded with balls" (John Hayes, 'Mother's Finest')

"We love the way he dresses!" (Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci)

"Lord Bishop is Rock Music's new pearl - the hammer live show!" (Weistzeit Magazine, Germany)

"A hell-raising assault on the senses…… Lord Bishop is RED HOT." (Babysue, USA)

"Lenny Kravitz meets Dead Moon" (Westzeit).

“This unique blend of SexRock will enthral audiences all over Britain and they are set to become firm favourites on the touring circuit.” (Gwent Gazette)

“Lord Bishop Rocks is Rock ‘n’ Roll at its best – led by a black Voodoo Funker laying down rock n’ roll the way it was meant to be.” (Scarborough Evening News)

“Looking like he’s just raided Outkast’s wardrobe, and sounding like he’s contacted Jimi Hendrix in the afterlife, Lord Bishop creates a riot of colour, sound and spectacle …. combining some of the funk of Prince with the raw power of Motorhead” (Perth Advertiser)

“Hugely impressive……. A fusion of hard rock, blues, funk and cutting edge pop……. the loudest, funkiest, dirtiest hard rock trio to hit town for many a year.” (Dundee Courier)

“more attitude than an entire block of the Bronx with a guitar sound that collapsed the valleys into their disused mineshafts…. Lord Bishop will prove an education for anyone under 18 growing up on the clean living sounds of Lost Prophets and Funeral For A Friend.” (South Wales Argus)

“when it comes to eye-catching outfits, saucy lyrics, the ability to keep a crowd entertained and just for keeping rock ‘n’ roll alive, Lord Bishop Rocks leaves The Darkness in the shade.” (Gwent Gazette)

“Lord Bishop Rocks. It’s a name, it’s an indisputable fact on the evidence of the day’s finale. Crimson peacock overcoat glinting in the evening sun, he delivered an explosive set of politically-charged, funk-edged rock which thundered across the park. One minute damning Bush and Blair, the next proclaiming his love for things feline (think about it), he held nothing back. He had the crowd singing along and, by the end, dancing on the stage in their dozens. Follow that.” (Wakefield Express)

"An Alchemist Music Dream" (Alice Cooper)

"SexRock sounds like Jimi Hendrix on punk speed with the sexual discharge of James Brown fucking Marilyn Manson in the Ass" (Tina Sisko, Rolling Stone)

"How can he sing and play so bad and sound so fucking good!?" (Chris Robinson, The Black Crowes)
