The Pogomotion Website is constantly undergoing a number of changes to layout and content. Keep checking in as information can change daily. In addition, a large number of gigs and tours are being announced / added to.

 

 
   

IT's GOING TO BE A HOT SUMMER!

In the coming months:
THE CASBAH CLUB - After hugely successful 'Sex Change' UK tour, the band are now in studio finsihing the debut album recording, but they will be playing live in August in UK (Bulldog Bash Festival, plus London & Dudley), with more dates later in 2005 to coincide with album release.
DIESEL PARK WEST - The classic 'Shakespeare Alabama' will be released 8th August, with the band appearing at various Festivals and touring later in the year.
GENE LOVES JEZEBEL - The excellent EXPLODING GIRL album is now available in UK, and the band are currently on an extensive UK Tour throughout June. Further UK, US and European touring will follow later this year.
LORD BISHOP ROCKS - The Kings of SexRock are still on tour. In fact, they are never off the road for longer than a few days at a time. In the coming months they will be appearing in over a dozen European countries, Festivals and Club shows.

Here is a bit of info about the tour etc from Spike's website :

Spike's new album 'It's a Treat to be Alive' will be released through Demolition Records, with the first single from the album is 'Everyday' a cover of the Slade classic. The single will also be accompanied by a video - more news of this to follow. (Watch out for a clip of the video in the next few weeks on the website.)

The new album features fellow Quireboys Paul Guerin and Keith Weir on guitar and keys respectively, with Nigel Mogg on bass duties for a number of tracks. Other musicians on the album include Bad Company guitarist Dave Colwell, Angie Stone and Nick Mailing.

Spike wrote most of the album, with co-writing credits going to Paul Guerin amongst others.

The NEW Leaner and Meaner CASBAH CLUB

Simon Townshend has joined THE CASBAH CLUB (now a four piece, with Bruce Foxton, Bruce Watson and Mark Brzezicki) and the band will be touring and recording their debut studio album from April 2005 onwards. Debut single INVASION is now playlisted on SCUZZ TV. This sees the band rubbing shoulders with the likes of Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Metallica, and Slipknot!! Scuzz is the spiritual home for people who like their guitars loud and their thrills thick and fast! It’s available to people who have Sky TV (channel 471) and ntl:home (channel 934) and the video is being played daily on their playlist rotation (including on the NEW SKIDS ON THE BLOCK programme, at approxiamately 9.18pm nightly).
