1.
As much as we'd like to, we just don't have
time to respond to everyone who sends us their music. If you don't
hear from us, it almost certainly means that - for any number of
reasons - our interest wasn't aroused by what you sent. We don't
have a standard "rejection" letter, because we don't feel that they
say anything constructive to the people who receive them.
2.
If our interest is aroused by what
we hear, then we'll get in touch - after all, that's what we do!
But, we just can't take every telephone call, or reply to every
email or fax. A gentle reminder might encourage us to dig your tape
or CD out of the pile - but persistent hounding won't be anything
other than annoying. Having said that, it's not unknown for us to
offer guidance or feedback to people who get in touch with us -
but we can't promise anything.
3.
Please don't send music via the internet -
it plays havoc with our server! We know it's more expensive, but
at the moment please restrict yourselves to CDs, cassettes, DVD's,
videos etc, sent by Post. Think of it as an opportunity for self-expression...
4.
Please send as much relevant material as possible
- for instance, if you have recorded three CDs, send them all, don't
just send the latest, or the one you think is 'best'. Provide us
with Band Biography, Gig History, Pictures, Press reviews, etc.
If you have a video or Live recording, include this also. Basically,
send all material and information relative to the band to give as
complete a picture of band, the current level they are at, where
they've come from, the bands potential and talents - then they can
be considered for possible addition to the Pogomotion Roster.
5.
If you wish to put your band forward for consideration
for Addition to the Pogomotion Roster, please email demos@pogomotion.co.uk
to request Band Info Form, which must be submitted to us with your
Pack (as detailed in 4.
above).
